Professional Associations as Vehicles for Knowledge Sharing

This literature review and analysis came about as part of my Master’s Information Models & Platforms course, and was inspired by the industry I was involved with as part of my day job at the time. The purpose of this paper was to ground some of the knowledge sharing practices we’d learnt through the course in an industry of our choosing, doing so by reviewing the body of literature associated with our chosen Knowledge Management Models and identifying the practical implications of those Models within the industry.

This was a solo project that took 2 weeks to complete. It was particularly unique for me, because I don’t often get to combine the two worlds I was exploring in this way (academia and industry), and doing so while being so heavily involved with both at the time was particularly fun.
