NCR: The Not Criminally Responsible Designation

This was a podcast episode I recorded to cap off a Mental Health course I took in my undergrad as part of my Sociology minor. In it, I discuss the NCR designation through the lens of a few high-profile cases in North America and seminal papers on the topic. I recorded this in early 2020 and chose the podcast medium to challenge myself creatively (and make use of some cool hardware that my musician girlfriend had recently bought). Having consumed so much of the same type of content in my free time prior to this, it was surreal to hear my own voice played back to me once edited and processed. The temptation to do a mid-roll ad read and ask listeners to like and subscribe was also very real.
